In-home care

Alzheimer's & dementia care at home

Memory loss changes the house before it changes the person. Doors get confusing, evenings get harder, and the family member doing the caring starts running on empty. Our caregivers are trained to keep the day predictable, the home safe, and the person feeling like themselves.

We provide specialised, compassionate support tailored to individuals with memory-related conditions, ensuring safety and emotional well-being.

When to call

Signs it may be time for help

If several of these sound familiar, a conversation costs you nothing.
  • Repeating the same question within a short span of time

  • Missed medications, or doubled doses

  • Getting lost on a familiar route

  • Leaving the stove on, or food spoiling in the fridge

  • Agitation or confusion that worsens in the late afternoon

  • The family caregiver is exhausted, short-tempered or unwell

What our caregivers do

What a visit includes

  • Keep routines consistent

Same caregiver, same sequence, same times. Predictability reduces agitation more reliably than anything else.

  • Redirect rather than correct

Arguing with a memory loss symptom never works. Our caregivers are trained to step sideways instead.

  • Manage sundowning

Adjusting light, activity and noise as the afternoon turns, when confusion typically peaks.

  • Reduce hazards at home

Without turning the house into a hospital.

  • Support engagement

Music, photographs, familiar tasks. Doing something is better than being managed.

  • Watch for change

Small shifts in appetite, sleep or mood get reported to the family the same day.

We provide personal and supportive care. We are not a skilled nursing service and we do not provide medical treatment, wound care or injections.

Common questions

Questions families ask about this

Will my mother accept a stranger in the house?

Often not at first. We plan for that: short introductory visits, the family present, and the caregiver framed as help for you, not for her. It usually settles within two or three visits.

Can care increase as the condition progresses?

Yes. Plans are reviewed regularly and hours adjust as needs change.

Do you provide overnight care?

Yes. Overnight and 24-hour care are available.

Talk to someone who has done this before

One call. We listen, we visit the home, and you get a written plan before anything starts.
